he Gothenburg Chamber of Commerce incorporated in 1940 is a voluntary federation of business and professional people working together to build a healthy economy and to improve the quality of life in our community.
Chamber members are businesses, organizations and individuals concerned with the socioeconomic climate of our community. They have joined together because they know they stand a better chance of getting things done when they speak as one voice. |

Mission Statement
The Gothenburg Chamber of Commerce serves and collaborates with local businesses, organizations, and people to continually enhance community vitality. The Gothenburg Area Chamber of Commerce:

*Entrepreneurs are home-based businesses without employees; individuals; farmers/ranchers; or employees of member businesses or additional businesses under the same ownership after one business pays base level or above.
**Non-Profits are organizations supported through charitable giving and/or governmental grants. They are organized and operated for religious, charitable, scientific or literary activities.
***Friend of the Chamber are individuals that would like to join the Chamber for specific benefits, not related to a business.
Quarterly and semi-annual payment plans are available on base level and above. Membership investments may be made on a monthly basis with the automatic transfer payment plan. Dues to the organization are not deductible as a charitable contribution but may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.
