City-wide Garage Sales

Is it trash or treasure? It’s all in the eye of the beholder. Hold onto your hat! You’ll find bargains galore as you shop the streets of Gothenburg at the annual City-Wide Garage Sales. Commemorating a Milestone-150th Anniversary of the Pony Express
June 20, 2010
Pony Express Riders will stop in Gothenburg. Join them in Ehmen Park, 15th & Lake Avenue, at 8 a.m. for a pancake breakfast and an old-fashioned church service. Muzzleloaders will pitch their tents and have displays throughout the morning and afternoon.

Pony Express Rodeo
July 3rd & 4th, 2010
Rodeo both nights. Mutton busting for kids with steer wrestling, bronc riding and calf roping for adults.  Fireworks display on July 4th at dusk.  Other sponsored events on July 4th include: funwalk and barbecue.

Farmers' Market
