$3.5 million construction/renovation project a Gothenburg Memorial Hospital, completed in 2004, responded to needs for out-patient, surgial and acute care and included permanent in-house CAT scan equipment. Improvements are being funded by donations and existing hospital revenues.

Get the benefits of a health club for a fraction of the cost. Fees to belong are: Single - $120; Couple - $160; Family $200. Family members must be 14 years of age or older. Winter hours are: Mon-Thurs, 5 a.m.-10 p.m.; Fri, 5 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sat, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.; Sun, 2 p.m.-8 p.m. Summers hours are: Mon-Fri, 5 a.m.-8 p.m. Orientation is given to anyone unfamiliar with the use of the equipment. Machines available include treadmills, stairmasters, bicycles, rowing machines, weight machines and free weights.
Long-Term Care
The long-term care section of the Gothenburg Memorial Hospital is a 34-bed unit with 24-hour professional nursing coverage.
